Technology company Image Sensing Systems Inc. said on March 27, 2013 that it is investigating itself for possible violations of anti-corruption laws in the U.S. and the U.K.
The FCPA and Bribery Act both prohibit bribes to foreign officials to win business. The Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) jointly enforce the FCPA. The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) enforces the Bribery Act.
